Eh. Runescape is still not a good game. But I played it anyways. It's not too bad. and Ya i believe it is third person view.

Actually, from the trailer chris posted - it looks like a 3rd person top down scroller to me!
But, when chris posts more about it we will know - since he seems to be the resident expert on the subject.

It is a fully 3D game, I will make a video myself to show you. It is not a scroller, you can move the camera where you wish. After the graphical update, it seems a lot better, and all in all, I'd rather play this then Rappelz, or World of Warcraft, or Everquest. It's fun becasue of what you can do, and soon enough, I am becoming a paying member again.

we already know it's 3D - but is it a 3D 3rd person scroller?(ie. arrow keys) or can you change it and move the camera view with the mouse? just like UT2K4 Question

Since when did you care...

No 1st person.

Controlled via the Mouse and Click.

Arrow Keys move the camera around the player as well as up and down.

You don't need 1st person to have fun, and if you think that, then whats the point. I am going to pay for this game, that should say that it's worth it...

Now I am annoyed.

Amarah plays a shitty little 2d, crappy graphics game called Furcadia.

I play High Detailed fun with lots of stuff to do game that's got 3d graphics and has been out for 8 years.

Devro, it's in Java, ALL OF THAT GAME IS IN JAVA!

It is unbelievable!

I must recruit more players and play with my true friends...

I could see getting all hot & bothered if you made the game, the key word here being 'GAME' - but since your paying to play it, why get all bent out of shape because someone doesn't share your preferences or pocketbook Question

BTW, I've been on RealArcade's beta-test list for quite some time now, so I know what java can and can't do - and there are many FPS browser based games that are in the wild & free to play.

Betty Bad is one such game, that started out at RealArcade as a java browser game.

So, How much will you be paying for it?
