A song intones the night
As the sounds of my paws take flight
Brushing through
To take on once more a new

While a shallow moon shows among the clouds
I descend my feelings upon a call in shrouds
It echoes all along
My lonely wolven song

I work on to catch my prey
Although I shall not stray
Leaving behind my pack
Racing forth on my distant track

I sit beneath the moon alone
I lift my head while my colors are shown
Hoping to hear a call to return
But only left with the memory I lonely yearn

Standing here as I remember my fellows
Who stood beside me howling so mellow
Breaking through the sky in distance melody
Just in such formality
